The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) For glory and piety, the delegations competed *** and for the famous king, the tycoon of the worlds. The Imam of guidance and Bahr al-Nada and the prince of *** who took over by rule of law from every ruler. He is Al-Hassan and the son of Prince Muhammad *** Rafi’ Al-Ashami, the annihilator of all resistance. He is the intrepid knight in your gaping hole *** He is the pure scholar and the son of the most generous.
The end of the manuscript: By the right of the One who raised you in the depths of the earth *** every Murji’ and Brahman argued. And the one whose grandson was named after *** Muhammad, the chosen one from the family of Hashim, came. May God’s prayers be upon him as long as he stands *** according to his Sunnah in the beginning and the end. And his family and companions did not say an anthem *** about our famous master, the Qutb al-Alam. It ended (...) and in Safar 1306.
