Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, the most loving, the most benevolent, the most guided, my Master Muhammad bin Idris al-Sarraj, may God perpetuate your existence, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, the man whom you wrote about denied what his friend claimed against him, and he was satisfied with the oath for that, and after being satisfied, he forgave him even for taking the oath. We looked into the invitation that he claimed to you and did not follow it, and we found that he did not claim it in person, but rather sent you with another man after he went to you. Accordingly, the plaintiff appeared and forgave everyone in the presence of Al-Makhzani. This is what must be communicated to you. May God bless you and for the love of our master. Peace be upon you on the 10th of Jumada 2 in the year 1286. Idris bin Muhammad al-Musawi. May God grant him success with his blessings.
