Praise be to God alone, our dearest lover and servant of our master, the most noble and leader, Muhammad ibn Talib. May God grant you success and peace be upon you, and may God have mercy on you, with the presence of our Lord, may God support him. Here we turn to your happy presence, the bearer of our friend, strengthen his support. He arrested whomever he found from the Banu Akhlifa, a group of the children of Ibn Najl, and as you know they are corrupt. Our Lord ordered their arrest wherever they are found so that they may be led into service and given rights and abandon the rightful path, and they have been prevented from performing what is obligatory upon them of zakat and tithes. And the movement of our master, his support must be strengthened in seizing them. May God help us and you in honorable service and in love and peace on the 25th of Hajj in the year 1274. And from him and our servants under your hands, it is true.
