Notes Praise be to God alone. Our beloved earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. For the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. With regard to the honorable matter, the donkeys will be returned to you to carry the seed and fodder for the plowing of the two happy sons in Ain Madshar. So he appointed the trustees of Al-Hari Al-Saeed to pay them a sheaq of wheat and a sheaq of barley, and provide them with sacks in which they can carry that and return it to you. With love and peace, on the 7th of Sha’ban in the year 1285.        The runner-up of the highest position, in God’s name, is my relief
