Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, our master the honorable jurist, the eminent Pasha, my master Idris al-Sarraj. May God grant you success, peace, and God’s mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master. May God support him and grant him victory. After our master, may his happiness last, he came to visit the pole, Maulana Idris, on the day of his date, which was Monday. We stopped at the grandfather’s leg for his arrival, and he ordered that three heads of cows be brought as a sacrifice, so we brought six until he chose. Of the three of them, we gave about three hundred pounds of food as much as we could, and of drunkenness, we brought as much as possible, and we fell very short until God immortalized his kingdom, happy and active. He bestowed upon the honorable Idris and the high ones a thousand mithqals, and on those other than them three hundred mithqals, and all of what was mentioned was witnessed by your friend Al-Jilani Al-Awdi. I was ordered to direct the man whom we had appointed for inheritance, and he is Idris Al-Suhaimi, but he was in a state of sores that prevented them from riding, and accordingly, the sufficiency in your book is answered for us. By his carrying out the service, then Awfi will advance towards, God willing. As for Hajj Muhammad bin Al-Faqih, we have ordered him to go to you as you have commanded other than what he was commanded, and with love and peace, 3 Muharram Fatih 1282 And the beloved judge, the righteous, Mr. Al-Jalali bin Ahmed bin Al-Inaya Al-Jabbari, may he complete peace and increase him, and peace and peace be upon him, your successor, Hajj Hadd bin Al-Ayyashi, may God grant him peace.
