Praise be to God alone. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our master, his family, and his companions. Our master, the jurist, the Pasha, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May God grant you success, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, and may God have mercy on you for the goodness of our master. May God support him. And after that, when we came to the Idrisiya corner with the intention of what we had directed from you, we found the Qaramoud that had arrived at the aforementioned corner. He rode in one of the quarters of the Ahbas. Accordingly, what was required of Kamalik was to order the direction of the Qaramoud that was under the hand of Hajj Muhammad bin Makhlouf. We have given them to the animals with the intention of carrying a water for each animal, and if there is any need in the matter, then command Hajj Muhammad bin Shaqroun to fulfill it, and with love and peace, 13 Ramadan 1281 the servant Hajj Muhammad al-Mantrash
