Notes Praise be to God alone        And may God’s blessings be upon our master and his family, the beloved jurist, the most eminent scholar, the venerable, the best, the most exemplary, my master al-Tayeb ibn al-Yamani, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God support him. And those whom you arrested in advance from the people of the Zawiya for the sake of demonizing them in the call of the overseers, and our Lord informed us of them, that the stay of those imprisoned among them was prolonged in prison, just as the residence of those asking for mercy in the sanctuary was prolonged, and no one remained (amputated) except those who would intercede for them, and we were upon them. The intention of the writers was to glorify our Lord so that he would hear, and praise be to God, the crime of the criminals and his punishment will inevitably come upon the aggressors, so the calamity of Hajj occurred at the Happy Dome, and we were busy arresting everyone who smelled of accusation, so we were ashamed and unable to speak about the first two, out of shyness of our Lord, and we refrained from writing about them until the marabout, Mr. Jalloul Al-Hajjami, a student of Sidi Kaddour Al-Alami, came to us now, and the marabout of Al-Khattab in each of them, Marjou and Yasar for him in the corner, and for Salah and with them. Of the nobles and notables, and they stayed with the beloved of all, Hajj Muhammad ibn al-Madani, because he was as if he had been cut off from the presence of our Lord and returned heading to his home. He passed by our Lord Idris the Great. May God protect us from your care and attachment to him, and from that time on, their desires came back to us until they excused us. We hope that Your Excellency, and here it is, with the first of your dignity, will end the intercession of those hoped for. In fact, they all intercede with the pearl of Morocco, the precious leeches of our Lord Idris. So, his Master, praise be to God, he was pleased with his desire, he was victorious, and he was victorious due to his victory. And in sum, I have completed the intercession for our Master in fulfillment of our promise. We accepted it and placed the burden of hope at his door, his vision wide, and love and peace. 18 Muharram, 1279 AH 1279. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God protect him. Praise be to God and upon our earthly lover, the purest peace be upon the best of our Master, the Imam. And after that, our Master has informed us of what he wrote about the above prisoners. Those who were under arrest, may God grant him permission to release them according to the Sharif’s order and love and peace at the end of Muharram 1279. Al-Tayeb bin Al-Yamani, may God protect him.
