Praise be to God, our dearest lover, the earthly leader, the leader Farji. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you with the presence of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then he will return to you sixteen animals, eight of which were at the hand of the runner-up, Belkhair Al-Hamdouchi, and eight at the hand of Al-Furaihi, with the intention of the purpose for which I wrote, peace be upon him, on the 18th of Rabi’ 2 in the year 1280. The earthly Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, Si Balkhair the donkey has come to us, and we have spoken to him.
