Notes
Praise be to God alone, our love and the servant of our earthly Lord, Sir Muhammad Ibn Talib, may God protect you and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, with the presence of our Lord, may God support him, and after his bearer, Al-Amarti, who lives in Sharilbin, who was given in the fall crop of Jinan, my master, son of Al-Nasr Al-Kabir, only fifty mithqals. We love you. You order Ibn Al-Hajj Al-Walidi to look, for whoever wants it, that is it. Otherwise, the sale will be granted to him, and likewise the Jinan of the father of skins and a pinch for the trustworthy one, there directing the beasts, sir, the yield of his output. And with love and peace on the 21st of Hajj al-Haram in the year 1274 and the summer of Maulana Farji, may God protect him
