Notes
Praise be to God alone Sunday, September 21, 1947 His Excellency the dearest Pasha, Mr. Talab Al-Muqri, may the peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord Al-Mansour, by God. And then, I returned safely to Salé and before me, filled with joy because of those days that I spent in your hospitality in the beautiful, quiet ovens, the meaning of which is increased by your crowded gathering, your esteemed session, and your two scholarly and literary companions, Sir Al-Arabi Al-Harishi and Sir Ahmed Al-Tijani and the owner of the honorable and light house, the virtuous and honorable soul, Sir Mohamed Al-Manjra, and your good son, Sir and Said. I hope that you will be kind on my behalf to convey my greetings and praise to everyone, for their status in my heart is in the heart. May God increase people like them and preserve the loved ones in their loved ones. Yesterday, the inauguration and laying of the first room at the Nahda School in Salé took place at the hands of His Highness Prince Moulay El Hassan, accompanied by the men of the honorable warehouse and the men of the administration, so signs of joy and happiness were evident. The party was filled with so much elegance, majesty, and splendor that there was little parallel in its calm and order, which all those attending admired. I extend to you the best of my thanks and signs of sincerity. Peace be upon you Abu Bakr.
