Notes Our dearest earthly brother, Mr. Muhammad Ibn Talib, may God protect you and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you in the presence of our master, may God support him. And after that, we have been informed that the sons of Al-Hajj looted the estate of our master Pierre Al-Wadini, eight of our master’s mules and others, and they showed the master the looting in the roads and others until it reached us that Bab al-Futuh was closed yesterday and no one came out with it on this day, and even some of the boys looted some of those passing by on their way yesterday, but your concern is serious in returning it. They looted and it will be solved. They will receive punishment that is not permissible for anyone else, by the power of God and His power, and the people when ordering and prohibiting what you have commanded for the children of the Hajj will be theirs. This is the first ruling and the last, which made their matter one of the most important matters. The people of this city have complained about them to the fullest extent, and we thought that their matter was not hidden from you, and we only heard. If we were to complicate the matter instead of a gathering, this hastened and remained silent about it, it is not appropriate and there is no policy in it. What is happening is that we are in the matter regarding them, and we should not be lenient in the beginning of the matter and consider you. Peace be upon him on 3 Safar 76 Al-Arabi bin Al-Mukhtar, may God be with him
