Praise be to God alone. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, his family, the earthly jurist, and the successor of our master al-Murtada, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you in the presence of our Lord, may God grant him victory. When we ordered someone to come to the corner imprisoned, and we sent him back after that, we were kind to him. After that, his mother came to our house and cursed the relative. Far away, in Ain al-Saqi, a young girl has been seized. If we are the ones who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, we will curse and not curse and bring us good tidings of what violates our view despite the presence of rulings, and that will lead to great corruption. Now if he comes to you, imprison him. Otherwise, if he does not come, send him your companion to deliver him to your presence in the attic, and decide with your bedside view and your rational opinion what he deserves. Peace be upon you.
