The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) This is the book of undoing, extracted from the book Al-Musabaqah, and it contains the undoing of knowledge and its special aspects, the knowledge of the major, middle, and minor knowledge, the undoing of the complete and incomplete composition, and every art in this science has a contract and a solution, and in the solution and the contract there is a break.
End of the manuscript: The Night of Destiny, the Hour of Answer on Friday, and the middle prayer are known only to those who know God, and their knowledge cannot be attained except with God’s permission, as we mentioned. The seventh part of the Book of Breaking in this Noble Science ended and was finished on the 27th (??) of the morning of Thursday of the month of Safar Al-Khair in the year 1325 in the corner of Sidi Al-Ghazi in Fez.
