Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then the hermitage brought him home to them for their residence. They reported that it was about to fall. If the overseer of the prisons returned to him to fix it, and he would fulfill it, then regarding the order of our Lord the Caliph, may God protect him, he directed the people of insight and those who decided to see it. If they found the matter according to what they reported, then he assigned the overseer to fix it with resolve, and if the matter was otherwise, let us know, and with love and peace, 21 Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year 1287 and the summer of high status, by God, my relief
