Praise be to God alone. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our master, his family, and his companions, our master the jurist, the Pasha, Sidi Idris al-Sarraj. May God grant you success, peace, and God’s mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master. May God support him and grant him victory. After we wrote, we asked you for permission for Idris al-Suhairi to take over as overseer of the inheritance in the place of Hajj Muhammad ibn al-Faqih, but you did not give him permission, but only indicated it to us, and now he is still asking us to receive your dearest letter that includes his appointment as mentioned. Especially today, as you have done since our Lord, may God help him, disavowed the reins of people’s complaints. Perhaps the responsibility of someone’s affairs is cut off, and he has a hidden relative, and he files a lawsuit against him to the Most High, as we told you about the book that connects with this, and based on that, there is nothing wrong with him, and be patient with him by directing your letter with what he mentioned, because of the proof it contains, as he does not hide from you, and from him, then the honorable Sidi Muhammad Asila Al-Idrisi, whom you have been ordered to carry out and direct, and for the love of our master, and peace be upon him, Safar 22, 1282.
