The beginning of the manuscript: We praise You, O He who opened our chests to understand the meanings and clarification, and provided us with the masterpieces of the cattle until we witnessed them with our own eyes (...) that he enabled me to read the last of the investigators, Abu Abdullah Sidi Muhammad bin Al-Tayyib bin Abdul Majeed bin Kiran (...) his elegant argona in metaphor and reality, and he ordered me to put an explanation on it (...) so I complied with his order.
End of the manuscript: Then he said: It was completed, thanks to God, the Majestic, may blessings be upon Muhammad and his family. This explanation was completed in the beginning of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year two hundred and twenty-nine AH. It was completed on the eve of Wednesday, corresponding to the blessed Shaban of the year 1292 AH, at the hands of its writer (...) Hajj Muhammad Hujaira Al-Fassi.
