The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Praise be to God who honored the people of His Holiness by raising their status above the heads and shoulders (...) And then Abdullah Muhammad, nicknamed Al-Sharat bin Muhammad bin Muhammad Tahir bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Aishun, says (...) I had written a book in introducing the righteous people of Fez, and I called it Al-Rawd Al-Atahir Bi Akhbar Al-Sayhin from the people of Fez (...) and when I saw this, I was assigned to place a restriction with which the composition was appended. What I mentioned includes everyone I knew.
End of the manuscript: Among them is Sidi Sahnoun in the Rawda Lee above the Rawda of Sidi Abdel Nour, and among them is Sheikh Al-Wali Al-Salih Sidi Bounafi.
