Praise be to God alone, our beloved, the faithful student, Sayyed Idris al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. For the goodness of our protector, may God grant him victory. I pay to his honorable bearers to you. For two of them, for the honorable servant of Sharif bin Abdullah, five measures of wheat, and for the second, my master Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman, three measures of wheat that our master bestowed upon them. May God accept it from my master. On the 11th of Muharram al-Haram in the year 1258 from your lover, the favorite, Ibn Zakri, may God be kind to him.
