Notes Praise be to God, his martyrs, Sir Muhammad ibn al-Hajj Qasim Shadan, were present on behalf of himself and the fortune teller, Mrs. Ruqaiya bint Sidi Muhammad Bennani, and Moulay Ahmed ibn al-Abbas al-Hassani, on behalf of his wife, the blind Ruqaiya, daughter of Hajj Qasim, mentioned above, and al-Hajj Muhammad ibn al-Hajj Hammadi ibn al-Ghazi, on behalf of his wife, Tahira, sister of Ruqaiya on the father’s behalf, and Hajj Kaddour Bennis, on behalf of his wife, Khadija, sister of the aforementioned Sidi Muhammad, and they testified that they agreed to empty the existing house. In Bu Uqda, in the vicinity of Dar Shadan, Dar al-Sarair, and Dar al-Shawi, and its brokerage and sale to others with complete consent, they knew its value. He testified to them in its entirety and made it known to them on the twenty-first of Shawwal in the year ninety-eight, two hundred and one thousand.
