Notes Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family, our love, the leader, the happiest, the most knowledgeable, the most learned scholar, Sidi Idris Al-Sarraj. May peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, I received your letter on the matter of the Meccan of Hamrawi. What oil I owed to Mr. Abdul Karim Al-Filali. I know, sir, that the aforementioned Meccan owed the people a great debt. They summoned him, the lords of those for the most honorable law. The judge seized him and wrote the exploitation fee except for the oil and some of the olives, and the judge released him. He has a deadline for selling what he mentioned, and it has reached three months, and eight of what he mentioned, the holders of the debts must preserve it, and when the deadline expires, we inform him so that he can settle with them. As for the forced labor of your companion, we did not find any of it, and we informed you, and your consideration is broader, and with complete love and peace, on the 2nd of Qa’dah in the year 1284          Al-Makki bin Allal Al-Qula’i, may God grant him success.
