Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our Master, the earthly jurist, the good, the religion, the blessing, the Murtada, the servant of the highest station in God, Sir Idris Al-Sarraj, may God grant you success in what pleases him, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our Master, may God grant him victory. As for what follows, let it be known, my Lord, that the money that was deposited in our debt by the sheikh was presented to us (bitter), so when we imposed it on our servants of the religion, they were seeking mercy from the graduate of our Master. Idris, nothing more than what you ordered us, but two men refused, one of whom came to you, Abd al-Salam bin al-Yamani, and the second is still here, Qasim Ould Hadd Bouazza. And now, sir, with your grace, you give us support and your vision, sir, may God bless you and your offspring for the sake of the Prophet, and God, peace and blessings be upon him. On the 10th of Jumada al-Thani 1281, Omar bin Abd al-Rahman al-Amiri, may God grant him success.
