Notes	Praise be to God alone, our earthly lover and servant of our dearest master, the most honorable jurist, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj. May God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our master, may God grant him victory. After we wrote to you on fifty quintals of lime, only twenty-four quintals arrived. We love you, you know with them, they send a hundred quintals of lime, and there must be a wage, and we wrote to you on four quintals of “come,” and it was not enough. The one who arrived first, and these are two Fridays, nothing appeared to us about him, and he must be in your shadow. May God bless you and peace on the 28th of Rabi’ al-Nabawi in the year 1279 Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Salawi, may God grant him success.
