Notes Praise be to God alone. He received his scribe from the four individuals, namely Hajj Muhammad bin Musa, Hajj Muhammad bin al-Tayyib, Sayyid al-Arabi bin al-Khayyat, and the young man Ahmed bin al-Muallem Ahmed, both of whom were from the mudshar of Sidi Musa (amputee) Zarhoun. May God Almighty grant him peace for the perpetual remembrance of them. Their testimony is their knowledge of Mr. al-Tuhamy ibn al-Hajj (amputee) al-Tahami, among the people of the aforementioned mudshar, with complete knowledge sufficient according to the law. They testify that the aforementioned al-Sayyid al-Tuhami has admitted to them that the theft that took place was at hand in the house of al-Hajj al-Khayyat. I bear witness (the amputation of) the people of the aforementioned mudshar has been mentioned in the night. We will pay in that the theft from Salem we received, whatever he received and some of them what was mentioned, he will record it from them for his questioner in (amputation) of goodness, eighty-three, two hundred and a thousand servants of his Lord, Most High.
