Notes
Praise be to God alone, in the place of our father, the eminent jurist, Sir Muhammad Gharit, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. And after that, the three farmers whose names are mentioned in Al-Tura Yamanta are the ones who set out on the first mission to cultivate life among them. We directed them to the Most High, as He commanded us, and upon love and peace, 14 Muharram 1280. Concerning the best of our Lord, may God support him and grant him victory. And after, our master informed us that they will travel tomorrow, God willing, so that they can prepare for it today, so that what they ride on will be easy for them. Peace be upon him, on the 14th of Muharram 1280. Let them accompany tomorrow, God willing, to Badr al-Makhzen. Muhammad Gharit, may God be gracious to him.
