The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may God’s prayers and peace be upon the Master of all creation (...) And then, these are forty hadiths on extending favor to Muslims and meeting the needs of anxious people by Al-Hafiz Abd al-Azim al-Mundhiri and explaining them to his student who knows God, Abu Zaid Abd al-Rahman al-Tha’alabi, may God be pleased with them both. I mark the entire original in red, and what is summarized in the explanation in black.
End of manuscript: Forty It was said, O Messenger of God, which of the people I love most to you is the most beneficial to people (...) And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Whoever abandons wearing beauty out of modesty while he is able to do so, God will cover him with a robe of dignity. It has ended, and may God’s blessings be upon our Master Muhammad, his family, and his companions (...) Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds (...)
