Notes Praise be to God alone, there are two witnesses, may God protect them from his companions yesterday, his date, accompanied by the principal, the Arab pilgrim, lover of the night, to the Madasher of Sidi Ali bin Hamdush. May God benefit us with him from Mount Zarhun. The aforementioned principal showed them the letter of the Pasha Al-Assaad Al-Fiqih, Sidi Muhammad bin Al-Talib, in which he ordered that they appoint for him someone from among them who would take over the courses of Ibn Al-Ashqar’s olives. Some refused, apologizing for their inability and lack of livestock, while others hesitated in the courses of what was mentioned, so whoever was found for what he mentioned. I accompanied him from mentioning and hearing what he wrote in his book as a testimony to his questioner on the nineteenth of Shaban in the year seventy-four, and a thousand servants of his Lord Almighty from our Master’s sin.
