Praise be to God alone, our love, the earthly and most uplifting jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after the return of your infancy (amputation) on the authority of the Sharif (amputation) of his mother, I will leave the man on whose behalf you have harmed tomorrow, God willing, at the Sharifah Gate at the ninth hour after sunrise, and I asked to direct Commander Muhammad Al-Shallah to finish this aforementioned den by standing by himself. I went to seize it and read the flag of our Lord the Caliph, may God protect him. We have seen it. His Excellency carried out that, and as for Commander Muhammad Al-Shallah, we searched for him like this and that, and the unseen revealed to us that he was there in Fez Al-Idrisiya, with love and peace, and on the 9th of Rajab in the year 1284 and the summer of high status, in God, my relief.
