Praise be to God alone, our lover, the earthly jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you. May God’s peace and blessings be upon you, may God grant him victory. Then he empowered his bearer, Ibn Al-Kana (the earth has eaten them), who is in charge of the cows of the Most High side, in God, from a man of servants (the earth has eaten them) in milking the aforementioned cows according to the usual custom and with love and peace on the 10th of Qa’dah Al-Haram in the year 1279, and the summer of the high status, in God’s name, my relief.
