And after we received your statement that the servant of our respected master, Mr. Muhammad al-Shami, informed your Excellency of the alarming answer, God named him, who responded to him regarding the rent of the concerned land of confinement for the bread of the students of the schools in his hand, and that he answered our Lord, may God support him, with what he mentioned and asked us, do we have anything that contradicts what he has in hand, an answer to what you have seen that does not contain an honorable matter that is an argument for us, an answer that contradicts the honorable order, a chapter informing about the payment of the real rent, which there is no injustice on the part of the prison, or not? He took possession of it for us to exchange it, and they spent on the last bidding, and he found someone who gave it for one year, and that it was a burden of eight thousand mithqals, and the aforementioned muhtasib attended and adhered to the waiting period, confirming that he would not wish, and until he consulted our Lord, may God support him according to what it was upon him.
