Notes The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God. It is narrated on the authority of Al-Mazari that he said: I entered upon Al-Shafi’i about his illness in which he died, and I said to him: How have you become? He said: I have become a parter from this world, parting from the two brothers, drinking from the cup of death, facing evil in my deeds, and returning to God Almighty, so I do not know whether my soul will go to Heaven so I may congratulate it or to Hell so I may console it. The end of the manuscript: The seventh fragment contains Saturn, the sixth contains Jupiter, the fifth contains red, which is Mars, the third contains Venus, and the second contains Mercury, which is (...) and the moon (...). What was found ended. According to some jurists: Because if you crossed one horizon by another and traveled west and east, and did not pass by an ax, you would not truly see the earth.
