The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and the end is for the righteous (...) These are branches related to the shepherds that I collected and I was afraid of losing them, so I wanted to collect them in one place to preserve them and facilitate reviewing them, and I called them Tuhfat al-Qudā’ fi Some Issues of the Shepherds, and I arranged them into seven chapters and a comprehensive one.
End of the manuscript: As for the partner’s share, he is his guarantor unless he travels with it on his own journey, with the permission of his partner, or it is the custom between them that he travels with it in such a way (...) otherwise he gets his wages. I finish. Continue thank God.
