Notes
Praise be to God, our earthly lover, Al-Baraka Al-Murtada, Sir Idris Al-Sarraj, may the peace and mercy of God be upon you with the presence of our master, may God support him. After that, the two hundred cowhide skins that were tanned and used to make military sacrifices were produced. Two examples were made of them, one of them square and the other rectangular. And of these tanned skins, if all separated, about eight skins come out of them, half of which are of the square type and half of the rectangular type. There was no explanation as to how much of each type it is, and we proceeded to work. One hundred and ten of the rectangular type is available, and as for the square type, our goal is to complete four hundred of it and we stop until we get the answer because we heard that the rectangular type is especially used by knights, and the square type is a saddlery. We love you, may God bless you. You are searching for us about the issue of that so that we know how to complete the work. Peace be upon Ramadan 1278 Trustees of Fez, may God grant them peace.
