Praise be to God alone, our beloved and trustworthy Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj. May God protect you. May peace and God’s mercy be upon you for the goodness of our Lord. May God grant him victory. Pay the bearer to you, Mr. Al-Rashid, the son of the jurist, Mr. Jaafar bin Sawda. Ten supplies of wheat were bestowed upon them by our master. May God accept him. On the 13th of Shawwal Al-Abrak in the year 1257, the favorite servant of his Lord, bin Al-Saffar, may God bless him.
