The beginning of the manuscript: The book “The Ummah of the Book and the Tools of People of Mind” containing the description of calligraphy, pens, ink, ink, dyes, and the binding machine, written by..... Al-Tamimi bin Al-Muizz bin Badis..... In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May God facilitate the first chapter on the virtue of the pen and calligraphy, selecting and choosing good pens, and the difference in their sharpening over the types of calligraphy, the description of the inkwell, and the choice of their tools, such as knives and other things.
The end of the manuscript: And no matter how many stuck things gathered on the edges of the inkwell, I stripped them with a knife and threw them into the ink bubble, and nothing was lost. And the glue is to preserve its splendor, because the glue... is a general method in all ink and dyes. The book was completed, thanks to God the Most Gracious... and to all his family and companions, and praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
