Praise be to God, our earthly lover, the jurist, the respected writer, Mr. Al-Sayyid Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after that, I found our friend with two plowshares in his hand, and I arrested him after I gave you the stick, and that is because he imagined to you that they were your possessions, even though they still had their plows. I addressed my friend Ben Jelloun to you several times, and he did not meet the needle-man, Mr. Al-Arabi, and when he spoke to him about them, he struck the plowshare, your possessions, and accordingly, here we are, writing to you, we love you. That you release our friend and direct the tracks for us, and God must bless you, and if he wrote, you still claim that they are your possessions, then the plows will come with the tracks to the teachers and work according to what they decided, and then he will appear to you, and with love and peace, Muharram 27, 1324, Idris bin Al-Wafi Al-Idrisi, may God be kind to him.
