The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Sheikh Imam Al-Qutb Al-Hammam Abu Al-Abbas Sidi Ahmed bin Al-Habib said, may God have mercy on him and benefit us through him, Amen. From what I have guided and demonstrated, I say that we have come to embrace the idea of Islam, the word of sincerity, and the religion of our Prophet, our Master Muhammad.
End of the manuscript: It is possible that our statement, “There is no god but God,” may be made a predicate (...) because what is meant by that is to explain the nature of Islam (...) which is the One God, etc. Then our master Muhammad strengthened us with the word “There is no god but God.” It ended with praise to God and His good help, and there is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
