Praise be to God alone, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our most dear and earthly lover, the long-term seeker, the most well-pleased, Mr. Idris al-Sarraj, may God protect you and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you for the goodness of our Master, may God grant him victory. We have received your letter and benefited from it. You have given the letters that we sent at your hand to our brother. May God reward you with goodness and bless you, Amen. This is because I paid your companion with the ten riyals from the land of Sraghana that I told you would reach his company. So, if By the Caliph of Al-Mashwar, he took possession of it from him due to an illness he had suffered. He returned it to me and sent you the letter stripped of it due to my not being present at the time he pushed him to the pendulum. We informed you so that you would be insightful. We greet your writer, the noble jurist, Mr. Abdul Wahid Ibn Al-Mawaz, and with love and peace on the 19th of Rabi’ al-Nabawi in the year 1281.
