Notes Praise be to God, our earthly lover, the most uplifting servant of our master, Sayyid Muhammad Ibn Talib, may the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you. On the authority of the prince of our Lord, may God grant him victory. He commanded the trustees to pay Muhammad Ibn al-Tayyib Ibn Ham al-Khatib fifty mithqals of the zakat of the people of Fez, seeking help for the marriage.
