The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Abdul Qadir bin Muhammad Ibn Sawda Al-Qurashi says (...) Praise be to God, the Owner of the kingdom who grants it and gives it and takes it away from whomever He wills and to whomever He wills He gives it (...) And after that, the flags are still capturing the chronicles of the exploits of the great kings and fighting to prove the effects of their memory that will remain (...) I called it the Arabicized title of the feats of Maulana Abdul Hafeez, Sultan of Morocco, and you can call it the saying. The recommended in the exploits of Maulana Abdul Hafeez bin Sultan Maulana Al-Hassan.
The end of the manuscript: Its writer, Abdul Qadir bin Muhammad bin Abdul Qadir bin Sawda Al-Qurashi, said: This is the last thing that we have been able to collect in this place (...) and I have briefly summarized it (...) and may it inspire our master and lord Abd al-Hafiz for his character (...) Glory be to your Lord, Lord of glory above what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. It was completed in the Fatih of Rabi’ al-Nabawi al-Anwar in the year 1326.
