Notes Praise be to God, our beloved earthly jurist, Mr. Ghadres Al-Sarraj, may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the goodness of our Lord, may God grant him victory. Then he commissioned the people of sight who are bound by the drawing to state the price of lime, sand, stone, and the wages of the teachers and the service each separately, and to return this drawing and state in it the aforementioned statement. And out of love, but rather from the honorable of His command, may God express love and peace, and on the first day of Jumada 2 in the year 1282, and the summer of high status. By God, my relief
