And after this, this is a treatise that includes the quarter of the circle called the quarter of the arches, and also the quarter called the answering quarter, and I speak about each one of them according to what suits it, and the simplest statement is on that (...) The first chapter on naming the drawings of the two quarters: And we begin with the arches, so the first of its symbolized drawings is the hole in it. The thread is the center of the quarter.
End of the manuscript: Chapter Twenty-Five on knowing the ascendant, the west, the middle, and the wedge of the earth.
