The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) A book of monologues (such) of the Prophet of God, Moses, peace be upon him. It was narrated on the authority of Ka’b Al-Ahbar, may God be pleased with him, that Musa bin Imran, peace be upon him, was a shepherd of the sheep of the Prophet of God, Shuaib, peace be upon him, in the city of Midian, and there was a river running through it, and it was beyond that river.
The end of the manuscript: He said: Yes, Lord, to add (such) to your stomach from the forbidden and your garment from the impurity. He said: O Moses, would you like to be among the first? He said: Yes, Lord. He said: Hurry to fulfill the needs of the people. He said: O Moses, do you like that I do not forget you?
