Praise be to God, he was present with his martyrs, Hajj al-Badawi bin Hajj Idris al-Tazi, and testified on his own behalf that he guaranteed to the Makhzanian side that the faces of Sayyid Muhammad, Hajj Ahmed, and al-Talib, the sons of Sayyid Abd al-Salam al-Qabbaj, would be brought at the expiration of a year, and to keep him informed of his history, so that if he wanted them to be present, he would bring them to him for the aforementioned sake, as a guarantee to his masters, he knew his worth, he testified against it in its entirety, and he recognized it, and on the sixteenth of Muharram, the conqueror of eighty-one, two-hundred and one thousand, and the truth is brothers among them.
