Notes	Notes: The document does not contain the author’s surname, except for his name: Abdul Hadi. Latifa Al-Kanduz (Moroccan Publications, p. 339) made a mistake in attributing the poem to “Abdul Hadi bin Muhammad Al-Shawi Al-Awwad, who died in 1901” (his translation is in the Encyclopedia of Moroccan Notables, vol. 8, p. 2827). At the end of the poem, the Nazim mentions Sultan Abd al-Hafiz in his capacity, which was not the case in 1901 or before.
