Notes Praise be to God alone          And may God’s blessings be upon our master, the Messenger of God, and upon his family, the earthly jurist Idris al-Sarraj. May God help you, and may God’s peace and mercy be upon you, for the best of our master, may God grant him victory. And after that, when your letter was received from the sheikh of Banu Junad, who was ordered to carry the dead, they found the condition in his grave since Tuesday morning, and they feared that they would find out that they would be punished for that. They came back to us in the night, distressed by them (amputation), when they came and we told them that we should write to you, and what I commanded it to be done, and this is all out of deceit. If they had been with him when he fell and carried him for an ax, it would have been better and better, but they were deceived and they were subjected to the same distress that befalls them as happens to a forgetful and drunk person. Accordingly, here we have told you and to act according to what your command brings. If the bed is for the pregnant, then hasten the dancing, and if it is for someone else, then likewise, and they must be concerned about the matter of the man and his death with what we mentioned before. We have hidden something from you, and this is not hidden from all people, and here we have directed the Persians and the needs of the perishing with this, and made the plan for reconstruction unjust as the sheikhs of Banu Junad directed them to us. Your flags and attention to you. May God keep you useful to the Muslims and for them, a defender, and for the love of our Master and peace and from him. These people were greatly astonished and terrified until they no longer knew what to offer or to delay (the amputation of) Al-Makki Al-Musawi, may God grant him success with him.
