Praise be to God alone. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family, our beloved Basha al-Asad, the most guiding leader, Sidi Muhammad bin Talib. Peace and mercy of God be upon you, for the best of our Lord, may God grant him victory. And after our brothers with the learned jurist, Sidi Ahmed bin the jurist, Sidi Muhammad bin Abd al-Salam al-Sanhaji, we would like our master, may God bless you, to release to them the animal that is in the hotel, and send with them one of your companions to stand with them at the witnesses so that they can give it to him and bear witness. He must have it as a document of his right for the term between them, and that your friend does not return it to the hotel. May God rectify our situation and your situation, and with love and peace, on the ninth of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year 1276 your beloved, Commander Qaddour bin Bushti, may God grant him peace.
