The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Praise be to Him who exalted the knowledge of the laws and made it apparent (...) And after that, when I was exhausted in my world with the plan of the judiciary and I acted in adjudicating the types (...) as previously mentioned regarding the issues of the judiciary, I intended in this summary to collect the councils of judges and referees, their lectures, and the fees for their debates, and a rejection of what (...) contains the records of the rulings.
The end of the manuscript: What came to me in this collection has ended, and praise be to God as He deserves praise (...) The book Al-Tanbih wa Al-I'lam was completed in Mustafad Al-Qudat Al-Ahkam (...) This book was completed (...) by (...)
