Notes Praise be to God alone, and may God’s prayers be upon our master Muhammad and his family. After the caliph at that time, Al-Ashhab, Hajj Hadd bin Al-Ayyashi Al-Si Muhammad Al-Miknasi, brought Al-Awdi and demanded from him a statement of the accusation from the people of his district of looting of what he claimed to have looted, to make them swear an oath in compliance with what was issued by the honorable of the obedient order in the presence of his two witnesses. I bear witness to them, then, that the aforementioned Al-Awdi acquitted the entire people of the city from the lawsuit of orphans and from Yemen with a complete, comprehensive, absolute, general acquittal, saying that he authorized His command belongs to God, Glory be to Him, and that the effect of what he claims has not been proven on any of them with complete testimony, knowing its value. He testified to it completely and recognized it on the fifteenth of Safar in the year two hundred and eighty-three and two thousand servants of his Lord.
