Praise be to God alone And may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family from the servant of his Lord, Ahmed bin Abdul Jalil bin Ali Al-Hasani Al-Alami, to our beloved and eminent jurist, Mr. Idris Al-Sarraj. May God protect you, peace and mercy of God for the best of our protector, the Imam. May God grant him victory after we renew our covenant with you. Saleh asked for prayers for Eid Al-Adha. May God Almighty bring it back to us and to you with all goodness, and keep all goodness away from you, and I am for you the best that I have ever hoped for in both worlds. Amen. From this, you have received the letters of our cousin, Sir Hajj Abd al-Salam, regarding the liberation of Colonel Ali al-Hajj and his brothers who are in Egypt. Here is our letter to you confirming what the nephew told you about for their sake, given their adherence to our order and their preoccupation with it. Be dependable. May God help you and keep you for good deeds. Amen. May peace be upon the 26th of Qa’dah al-Haram in the year 1286.
