The beginning of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful (...) Praise be to God who exalted his religion and placed it in the towers of established providence (...) And after that, when Sultan Maulana Al-Hassan bin Sultan Mawlana Muhammad (...) took over the caliphate and wanted to make a terrorizing army for the enemies and make them taste punishment and war (...) I called him the most desirable of minds, the utmost of speech, and the care of seeking help in the rule of employment and aid, or we say suppressing those who are reckless in launching Tax on employment and aid.
End of the manuscript: Chapter Eight, in explaining the purpose of achieving interest in employment. Know that the owner is in relation to his subjects like a father is in relation to his child (...) A warning about how these sciences reach the hands of the people of Islam, and it is among what the imams mentioned, and what is written in the books of Islam, that when the Muslims conquered the land of Persia, they found in it many books that Saad bin Abi Waqqas wrote to Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with them both.
